About the event
Join us for a fun-filled night learning traditional contra, circle and square dances featuring the talented Paul Rosenberg and live music presented by Tamarack.
Hear the bow of the fiddle and the pluck of the mandolin as they share the joyful rhythms of Celtic, Appalachian, African, classical, folk, swing music and more.
The steps are easy enough for everyone to participate: the young and old, the nimble and not so nimble. Everyone will have a great time!
After an hour of family-focused dancing and music, we’ll enjoy an intermission Pot Luck Dessert. Bring a dish to share if you can! And after the intermission, the dancing continues as a barn dance, and Paul will reserve the more complicated dances for this part of the event.
$5 donation per person suggested to cover caller and band. Children 12 and under are free. Water will be supplied and we encourage you to bring a water bottle from home to re-fill!
